About
Builder by instinct, leader by experience
I'm a software development manager and the head of AI enablement at Bellwether Technology, a managed services provider based in New Orleans serving clients across Louisiana and North Carolina. I also help run Sophia Software LLC, which builds information & referral software for 211 organizations and nonprofits. I still build software myself, and I lead teams who build every day.
I built my career the long way, from junior engineer to vice president of software engineering at iSeatz in the travel technology and loyalty space, and I write about leadership and career building in software development. AI enablement is the corporate name for the work, but day to day it means keeping up with what is new, testing it against real work, and helping people navigate the changes.

Sophia makes information & referral software for 211 organizations and nonprofits: a public resource directory, contact center, and case management, with AI agents that keep resource databases current. A person approves every change before it goes live.
